The free postcard route has equal standing

A no-purchase entrant sends one postcard containing full name, postal address, email address and telephone number to the Leicester address in the rules, marking it for the 80th Anniversary Giveaway and the relevant month.

The postcard must arrive by the final calendar day; proof of posting is not proof of receipt. Incomplete, late or illegible cards are rejected, but a valid free entry is otherwise treated the same as a purchase entry and does not require marketing consent.

Which showroom transactions qualify

The purchase method requires a single transaction of at least £500 at the Leicester or Oadby showroom during that month. Separate orders cannot be combined to cross the threshold.

Sale and discounted items, delivery and fitting charges, deposits, gift vouchers, refunds and cancelled purchases are excluded. A customer should ask the showroom to confirm eligibility before relying on the order as an entry.

Monthly prizes change, so check the current announcement

The promotion runs in separate calendar-month periods through December. Michael John Flooring states that each monthly prize will be announced on its website and official social accounts before the relevant period begins.

One winner is chosen at random within fourteen days after each month closes. Because the advertised item can change, entrants should save the announcement for the month in which they entered rather than assume it matches an earlier prize.

Every valid entry also reaches the December cash draw

In addition to the monthly selection, valid entries received during the promotional year are included in a grand-prize draw for £1,000 cash in December. Using the free route does not reduce eligibility for that draw.

Monthly winners are notified by email or telephone and have 28 days to claim. If the promoter cannot obtain a response, it may redraw the prize, making accurate contact information important even after the monthly window has ended.
